The Golden Thread of information supports your building safety by ensuring the right people have access to the right documents at the right time.
It improves accessibility to information and accountability to ensure projects are easier to manage and safety is improved every step of the way.

Those who commission relevant building work, participate in the design and construction process, and are in charge of structural and fire safety in the building when it is occupied will be required to use the Golden Thread.
How do I start the Golden Thread?

The UK Building Regulations Advisory Committee working group produced ten golden thread principles that provide guidance for companies to ensure they can meet the government’s expectations. Many of them are also the principles behind digital construction solutions such as common data environments (CDE).
